Attending a Service If you plan to attend a service, we wish to inform you that church attendees dress is a variety of ways from casual, everyday clothing to "Sunday best" outfits. There are no dress codes enforced and the majority of our members prefer to remain somewhat casual. We simply ask that you maintain respectability in God's house.
During Service The Way's Sunday services are at 9:30 a.m. Our services last for an hour and a half. Service is begun with an opening prayer, followed by a time of praise and worship. Next, we have the proclamation of the Word of God, which is generally delivered by Pastor Baker. Pastor Baker's style of teaching is practical and down to earth. He has the ability to make the Bible understandable to listeners of all ages. Following the message, there is the presentation of gifts (tithes and offerings) and the benediction (closing of the service).
In addition, communion (the Lord's Supper) is served on the third Sunday of each month and happens prior to the delivery of the Pastor's sermon.
After Service Pastor Baker is available to greet visitors and talk with members of the church. This is an excellent time to get to know us a little better by engaging with the members of the church. We welcome any questions you may have.
We hope that you will have an opportunity to visit with us. We understand that the first time attending a new worship service can be intimidating, so we ask that you contact us with any questions. You can email us at admin@thewaybiblefellowship.org or phone us at 832-216-0309.
