Daily Reading: Isaiah Chapter 48 thru Chapter 51

Key Verses: Isaiah 51:1-2

God blessed me with the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the construction industry.  One area that broadened my understanding was working with natural stones.  I was fascinated by how unique each stone was but even more by how each section cut was so unique from the next.  I found that you can't simply pick up a natural stone tile and go to the store and make a perfect match.  Many companies try to imitate these stones but when compared -- there is no comparison.

God told the Children of Israel to look to the rock from which you were hewn and the quarry from which you were dug.  God is pointing out the uniqueness of their heritage.  There is no other section of humanity that can say they come directly from the father of the nations.  Many can imitate them but they were cut from a different rock and dug from a different quarry.  Today Christians can look to the rock of Christ.  There is only one Rock of Ages dug from the quarry of Heaven.  He can not be duplicated.  Many are trying to manufacture Christ but the test will come when He returns.  Those that are held up next to Him and don't match will be cast into the fire.  Those that are hewn from the Rock will be granted access back to the quarry from which they were dug -- Heaven.  I encourage you today to look to the Rock.  He is just and faithful.  Be Blessed.

What a mighty God we serve; that from one man came generations and generations, whom are blessed!

I don't know if anyone else know Him like I do, but I know we serve a magnificent God.

Father, Your Name is to be exalted, glorified, and up-lifted at all times. I love You Lord- just because of who You are. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I though that is was unique how he said,

"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the LORD"

He wanted the attention of those that were a cut above from the rest. Those who pursue right. including the Lord. Abraham was definitly a man who was a cut above. This has reminded me that you have to live the life daily and not when its convenient for me.

Christianity is a daily walk.

God is offering spiritual steak and potatoes to those who seek him. Our spirits need to be feed just like our human body need food and water. Deliver me God from starving spiritually. Reading your word gives me a satisfied belly. I receive your blessings God. I understand that I have an inheritance from Abraham and Sarah. I also understand that Jesus is the rock that I have been cut from. So, Holy Spirit counsel me in my walk with you. Fill me with the faith to do your will for your people In Jesus Name Amen!
