Daily reading: Jeremiah Chapter 13 thru Chapter 16 Key Verses: Jeremiah 16:5,8 God created everything to bring glory to His name. All creation is to minister about the goodness of the Lord. Most humans think that we need to speak in order to minister. The trees and the heavens declare God's glory without one word. God spoke to Jeremiah and instructed him to minister to the people through his actions. Jeremiah was instructed to not take part in the joy or the pain of the people. Both of these things were publicly displayed in Jeremiah's culture. To not take part in the normal things done by the culture would speak volumes to the people. Have you gotten the attention of people through your actions? Has God convicted you not to participate in the normal activities of the culture to minister to His people? Allow God to creatively use you to illustrate His truth in Christ. 2008-04-16 12:13:04 GMT

God told Jeremiah to not morn or celebrate with any of the people, because he had withdrew His blessing, love, and pity from them, because of their wickedness. I know that as an exhorter cutting people off, especially during their time of need is a difficult process. Although, listening to God and putting Him first in our lives allows all of us to put our faith in Him. By doing so, we can all overcome our weaknesses and show His glory through how He works in our lives. This is the best testimony to others, because actions speak much louder than words.

Lord, help me to hold my tongue and speak of your truth by my actions. Let my behavior be a testimony and living ministry of your goodness. In Jesus name, Amen.

I think one of my closes cousin know longer call me and come see me because I don't do or talk about the things we use to do. All the things we use to do wasn't good at all. So I pray for him to come to place where he will understand that we can't live our lives like that anymore. In Jesus Name Amen
