Daily Reading: Psalm 99 thru Psalm 102

Key Verse: Psalm 101 6

One thing I truly believe is that all members of God's family are ministers.  Most people think that you must preach in a church setting to be a minister but that is not true.  A minister is simply one who communicates the good news of Jesus Christ.  Communication may be verbal or nonverbal.  We may speak of His goodness to others or allow others to observe our lives in a way that it communicates what we believe.  David carefully inspected the lives of all men before he chose who would dwell in his presence.  Only those who walked in righteousness would be allowed to minister to him.  Ask yourself would you have been chosen by the king?  What criteria do you use in order to choose your friends?  Are you surrounded by ministers or those who practice deceit?  Embrace the fact that God has called you to minister His truth and surround yourself with others who walk worthy of such a calling.

I always find it funny when someone gives advice on an area where they are terrible at. Its always the person who just mentioned their bank account was in the red that wants to give financial advice, or the person who is always complaining about their relationships who gives advice on relationships. I am with David as far only wanting to hear from those who are further along in their walk to minister to me. I pray that we all move further along in our walk with Christ to become blameless, so we can effectively minister to others. In Jesus name, Amen.

Reading the bible daily really help me understand how this world is so far from God it's sarcey. You have to continuely be on guard with your surroundings. Who you listen to and who you agree with. I use to pray that God would place me around people that was after his heart. I just could not allow myself to be in a situation without God being in my life no longer. For so long I live my life like the world and God with his saving grace protected me all these years. Thank your God for being the Lord of my life even when I didn't know it. In Jesus Name Amen
