Daily Reading: Psalms 5 thru 8

Key Verse: Psalm 8:2

How amazing it is the things that come from the mouths of babes?  I personally recall the confirmation of the greatest leap of faith that I have taken to date coming from a four year old.  In that instance, God established strength for me to walk forward in faith through the words of a child.

In Matthew 21, Jesus was entering Jerusalem and the children cried Hosanna to the son  of David.  The chief priests and scribes became indignant because of what the children were saying.  Jesus replies by asking the question "Have you never read ' Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise for Yourself' " (Matthew 21:16).  God desires us all to have faith like little children putting aside all of our boasting and simply relying on our Heavenly Father.  Many people are reluctant to be a witness for God because of their personal belief that they do not have enough knowledge about their faith.  If God can us a four year old to establish strength in adults, He definately can use any person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ.  Can God use you today to establish strength and make the enemy and the revengeful cease?  Trust the Creator for all and all will be available to you.

Thank you for that word. It truly touched my heart and has inspired me to dig deeper within myself to please God more. I trust Him and I know that He can do immeasurably things that I cannot. I am believing that God will continue to perform miracles in my life everyday. Keep me in your prayers.
