Daily Reading: Isaiah chapters 49 thru 52 Key Verses: Isaiah 49:14-16 We have all experienced rejection in our lifetime. Whether it was from a family member, a potential date or an employer, rejection hurts. It makes you feel unworthy. Sometimes the pain of rejection lasts a long time, especially when the rejection is from someone you love. However, God informs us that He will never forget us or reject us because He has engraved our names on the palms of His hands. Hands are the most sensitive and the most used parts of the body. So, He not only felt pain in His commitment to us, but He is also constantly reminded of us. We can have the assurance that even when the world rejects us we do not have to harbor the pain because we have a loving Father who is always thinking of us. 2006-12-07 15:29:20 GMT

It is so wonderful to know that I don't have to be concerned with this world. If my beliefs make me unacceptable or an outcast, so be it. There is only one person I am trying to please and that is God. It is interesting how people put you in a box that you can only get out of when you meet their approval. I am glad to experience the freedom of being outside of that box. I have to please no one but my God.
