Daily Reading: Acts Chapter 1 thru Chapter 4

Key Verses: Acts 4:13-16

Peter and John gives us a picture of total dependence on Jesus.  It was obvious to their accusers that they had no education to depend on yet they were totally confident.  They were standing with the miracle but that was not their boast.  They didn't even have to argue the fact that they walked with Jesus.  They drew confidence from that fact.  I think that their accusers were more astonished at the fact they walked with Jesus that the man being healed.  When we walk with Jesus we don't need to depend on anything else.  All things are possible and we are new creatures.  People will see Jesus perform the impossible in and through you and be amazed.  Make your boast in the Lord and not unto yourself or the miracle God performed.  Your walk will speak louder than your voice.  Some will be amazed and some will be left with nothing to say.  When I sit and think about all that God is doing and have done, I am speechless.  He is a wonder in my soul.  All praises to the Almighty God!

Peter and John give credit where credit was due. The training wasn't special to the religious council, but to me they had the best training possible. Walking and learning from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! To deny Jesus means to deny Life. I pray that we will allow Jesus to use us today! Then we will see the miraculous signs of Jesus in our lives! In Jesus Name Amen

Peter and John walked in confidence because they communed with and were able to call on the name established before the foundation of the world. The miracle performed causing the 40 year old man to get up and walk for the first time, was undeniably a demonstration of the power of God through the name of Jesus Christ. Even those who did not want to accept the name of Jesus had to accept the power of His name. I pray that we all commune with Jesus and grasp the power of His name. When we do acts that are obviously beyond our human capacity we can glorify Him and show that there is power in the name of our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that I pray, Amen.

Peter didn't deny knowing Jesus like he previously did. Full of the Holy Spirit Peter did recognize Jesus Christ. Leaving the on lookers shock and amazed. When you use yourself it's one story. And when God use you it's a totally different story.

Thank God for Peter bold example of ministering about Jesus Christ.
