Daily Reading: Acts Chapter 9 thru Chapter 12 Key Verse: Acts 9:3-5 Being the youngest of four, I always enjoyed the protection of my siblings. When someone wanted to mess with me they had to consider my siblings as well. Notice that Paul never persecuted Jesus but he persecuted His people. In Jesus' eyes if you mess with His people, you mess with Him. Saul was on his way to eliminating The Way. Jesus stopped him in his tracks and set him streight. Children of God have something greater than the National Defense given by the government. We have divine universal defense given by God. That is why we are to pray for our enemies. Pray that they realize what they are doing. Jesus prayed for the ignorance of humanity when we crucified Him. "God help them, they don't know what they are doing!" How blessed are we to have the assurance of such divine protection? This should add boldness to your walk and to your witness. Whom shall we fear? Fear God and walk boldly! In Jesus name. 2009-01-23 13:48:47 GMT

How awesome is our Lord and Savior, that He can take someone like Paul who persecuted His people and turn him completely around to be one of His biggest witnesses. Paul went from complete spiritual darkness and then had an encounter with Jesus. The event was so powerful that it temporarily blinded him. If Jesus can use someone who persecuted His people, then He can definitely use you. I pray that we shed the light of Jesus into all areas of our lives, so we can do His business on every front while we are here on this earth. In His name I pray, Amen.
