Daily Reading: Luke Chapter 21 thru Luke Chapter 24 Key Verse: Luke 21:5-6 Our society is undoubtedly obsessed with the rich and famous. The media in all forms constantly stream information about ordinary people who are held in high esteem because of their material wealth. Many are fascinated to get a glimpse of what goes on in the life of on a celebrity. There are tours set up to go and marvel at the gates of some of the celebrities' homes. Just after Jesus told the story of the poor widow giving all that she had, the disciples begin to marvel at the magnificence of the temple. The stones used in the construction and the wealth were impressive. The disciples missed the lesson on that day. Jesus took the opportunity to explain to them that all of this will one day will lie in rubble. "There will not be one stone left upon another." The wealth of this world is temporary and that is exactly how we should view it. the true wealth in inside our temples -- the Holy Spirit of God. Our true wealth lies in the Kingdom of God and not here on Earth. Let us not miss the lesson. May we all accumulate wealth in Heaven and not solely focus on acquiring the riches of this world. 2007-01-12 15:07:55 GMT

Father I thank You for allowing us to see Your Sons testimony, and empowering Shevon and me to see visions that are to glorify You. I thank you for the prayer received by the Holy Spirit, through us after our study of Luke 21-24. I believe that You are going to bless the people we prayed for indeed, expanding their territory, keeping Your hand upon them, and keeping them from evil. Father I thank You for Your wonderfulness, and Your set up of the Trinity. Father Your awesome, and Your to great to allow me to experience all of You, Your to great for me to know all of You, Your to great Lord, You are. I thank You for calling me to a ministry where they actually live by Your Word, doing Your Will. May you continue to bless The Way Bible Fellowship with whatever You have for us. May we seek Your face Lord, in all of our doings at the The Way Bible Fellowship. Honoring You each moment given by You. Thank You Jesus Christ for obeying the Father and His Will for Your Life. It's in Your name that I pray today and forever. Amen

Most often we get caught up in trying to make our lives seem as though we've got it all together. The truth of the matter is if God does not bless us with the things we need, we have nothing. I thank God that I can rest assuredly on all of HIS promises. I am so grateful to HIM that HE is not like man, "HE never lies." We should all look forward to our rich rewards when we get to heaven as they are promised in HIS word.
