Daily Reading: Ezekiel Chapter 17 thru Chapter 20

Key Verse: Ezekiel 18:25

A phrase that we often hear is, "life is not fair."  We live in a society where certain people have privileges others do not have.  We see these privileged people access loopholes in the systems of this world.  Murderers go free, the rich don't pay for anything, the poor can't get a loan, and there is no assistance for those sitting just above the poverty line.  The excuse is always, "life is not fair."  People often say that God is not fair.  When God does not meet our expected outcomes of life's situations, we tend to accuse Him of not being fair.  God is the God of love.  In fact, God is love.  He is also the God of perfect justice.  God will not wink at those who live an unrighteous life.  There are no loopholes in the kingdom of God.  What we all must realize is that we are to live up to God's expectations and not place our expectations on Him.  He gives us a perfect opportunity to know Him.  When we come to know Him, we will understand His ways.  God is holy, just, faithful, merciful, glorious, gracious, loving, peace, kind, gentle, and much more.  How are you going to live up to God's expectations today?

We serve a just God, a mighty God, a God of no mistakes! If a man commits sin- he has to be punished, just as a man who turns away from sin and lives righteous in God's eyes- he shall reap the benefits. God's love for us is endless. All we have to do is be about His business and not the wickedness of this world. For all things, He has given us "free will" therefore; the decision is ours. It's simple, obey Him by living righteous or disobey by conforming to the ways of man. I choose to obey Him! Thank You Lord for Your favor and Your unchanging hand in my life. To You be all glory, honor and praise- Amen (it is so)
