Daily Reading: Psalm 137 thru Psalm 140

Key Verses: Psalm 139:17-18

people from all over the world are held in high esteem and quoted for their thoughts.  To quote such individuals gives the impression that you share such thoughts.  There are many books published of only thoughts and quotes of people.  Quotes give us a snapshot into the thought life of a person.  David spent a lot of time searching God's thoughts.  God labeled David a man after His heart.  To know one's heart is to know one's thoughts.  The heart of God was precious to David.  David was overwhelmed with the vastness of God's thoughts towards him.  Do you know the thoughts God has towards you?  You would be overwhelmed day after day if you tried to count them.  Like David you would fall asleep trying and wake up and God is still there speaking His wonderful thoughts towards you.

God has given us an opportunity to tap into His thoughts.  We can have the mind of Christ.  We can pray for our thoughts to line up with His thoughts.  If they do, then our ways would line up with His ways.  Pray today that your mind would be bound to the mind of Christ and hold each thought God reveals to you precious as a gem.

If you grew up in a household where precious thoughts of you were not shared, whether it's because of negativity or because of a lack of communication, it is hard to believe that anyone let alone God has precious thoughts about you. If you were called names (dumb, stupid) or if you were disregarded as if you did not exist, it is hard to think that anyone thinks you are special. But in His word, God is constantly giving us promises and blessings. One of my favorite scripture passages is Psalm 139 because it reminds me of my conversation with God. It reminds me that I was not an accident or an obligation, but I am fearfully and wonderfully made. God knew me and formed me in my mother's womb. This coincides with the conversation from yesterday. God had a vision "of" each and every one of us and "for" each and every one of us. Like the commercial says "We are living the dream."

Such a magnificent thing it is to know the thoughts of God. In the past, I would take for granted the gifts or a blessing that I'd recieve. I would probably say or praise a person for doing something for me. Out of ignorance, I didn't accept that it was God who had me in mind, and allowed such a blessing to come forth through an individual. I know today that He was with me then, and He will always be.

God, sometimes I don't know what to say but Thank You! Thank You Lord for caring about me so much that You took the time to carefully form me in my mother's womb. Thank You for thinking about me and keeping me covered in Your blood. Father, many said that I wasn't going to make it past birth- but Thank You Lord for having the last say so in my life. Thank You Father for Your blood that is over me right now. Thank You for being my rock against all curses and strongholds that may try to come against me. Thank You Lord- just because You care. In Jesus name I pray- Amen

How wonderful it feel to know that God the father of the heaven's and the earth have so many wonderful and loving thoughts about me. That God will care so much to give his only son for me. All this time God has been showing me with his grace and mercy even when i didn't deserve it. I know God is all i need for protection in my trials in my life period. David says, that he care for the humble and seperate himself from the proud. So, if you are viewing this website. I prayer that God is showing you his thougths of you and that whatever your situation is GOD IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR SITUATION IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Key Verses: Psalm 139:17-18
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

Questions from Pastor Baker:

Q: Do you know the thoughts God has towards you?
A: No, I hope good ones!

Because, I’m trying to give him all I of me. But as He already know that it’s a life long process. Starting somewhere is better than not starting at all.

Personal Revelation:
This is so encouraging knowing that God has precious thoughts about me; so many thoughts that they outnumber the grains of sand; now that’s a lot thoughts. Because, I make so many vows to God, that I don’t always do or complete. I naturally sin because I’m human. I sometimes feel that I have let God down, resulting in being hard on myself.

My mind sometimes rambles of the many sins that I have done over time, or that particular day. Picturing a disciplined father who is with me every single move I make. A father that can even know the crazy and wild thoughts, including my dreams I have. A father that knows me better than I know myself. If there is a father that can know all that, oh how mad he must be at me, his son for thinking thoughts like such. Brings on a new meaning of fathering for that father. My fleshly ways that he has knowledge of is tossed in his face.

I can either picture one father out of the two below:

1. A father that is quick to punish because he can’t handle all that God alone is suppose to see.
2. The FATHER being merciful saying to Himself I’m not through with James A. McCauley yet.

However there isn’t any earthy father capable to do these things, except GOD, the FATHER. So I’m constantly questioning myself is God pleased with. Ya, ya, I do all the things, I follow majority of His rules, including what His word say almost naturally seems like. BUT, is he proud of me? Does GOD have precious thoughts about me?

Prayer:
Thank you God for a caring Pastor who has a biblical base blog system, that has pointed out that YES, INDEED, You are proud and have precious thoughts about me. In Jesus Name AMEN!
