Daily reading: Zechariah Chapter 3 thru Chapter 6

Key Verses: Zechariah 3:3-5

In America we are not sensitive to how the majority of the rest of the world lives.  So many things we take for granted, the rest of the world prays for daily.  Things such as running water, food, security, homes, electricity, opportunities, transportation, and a good change of clothes.  Most Americans can testify about the feeling of putting on some freshly cleaned clothes.  The crispness and refreshing scent of clothes can lift the countenance of anyone.  It would be very difficult to have these feelings if one was forced to wear the same filthy clothes every single day.  The feelings of despair, shame, and guilt would be commonplace.

We all wear spiritual clothes.  Our natural spiritual clothes are of sin.  There are some who wear these clothes for a lifetime.  There is only one way to clean spiritual clothes -- that is to allow the Father to wash us in the blood of Christ Jesus.  God adomonishes us to clothe ourselves in the righteousness of Jesus.  We have the responsibility to take upon ourselves the free gift of God then God handles the cleansing.  Our new spiritual clothes are refreshed daily by the Holy Spirit and we can experience the sweet fresh scent and crispness of brand new mercies day after day.  Never take God's grace and mercy for granted.  There are people all over the world desiring to be clothed in the righteousness of Christ.  It is our job to distribute the coupon for a lifetime of free cleansing.  Pass some out today -- it will be refreshing to you and the person who receives it.  God be with you.

Thank You God for being our Spiritual life changer! You are an awesome God and there is none like You. Praise God! It soothes my soul to know that I am washed in the blood of Jesus. Just as the Lord said to Satan, when he stood at Joshua's side to accuse him- "The Lord rebuke you, Satan!" So I will stand and declare in the name of Jesus, I rebuke Satan and all that he may try to bring against me or my loved ones. For Gods word is true, and it says that my sins have been atoned for. My words today are: thank You Jusus, Halleluah and praise God! Amen.

I can't help to think about my students at school. Some student come to school with dirty clothing on. Bless their hearts, it's their parent responsibility to make sure that there clothes are clean or at less teach them to wash. Most of my life can be compared to dirty clothing because of the choices I made in life. Yell, satan is around, but I made the choice to sin. My mother didn't teach me the Bible and she wasn't a saint herself, but I knew what was right and what was wrong. Once I got to a point were I was mature, God used what little knowledge I knew about HIM and show me The Way The Truth and The Life of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I thank God for forgiveness of my sin. I thank him for the death, bariel, and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, and I thank God for sending the Holy Spirit in way that I have a relationship with God.Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
